Loom is a table that weaves together material experimentation and social intention. Through extensive testing with scrap glass slumping, a woven structure was created—delicate in appearance yet strong enough to function as a usable loom. This material choice mirrors the resilience of those whose stories it aims to hold. Inspired by feminist weaving practices in Latin America, Loom invites women to contribute their own weavings, transforming the table into a living archive of labor, memory, and resistance within the home. The project creates a space where craft, storytelling, and community intersect, making the table both a functional object and a symbol of cultural preservation. Loom honors collective experience through materiality and invites ongoing participation.
