Transfigure
Transfigure is a wall mounted light designed for the 2023 IESNYC Light Competition under the theme “Circle of Light”. The amorphous structures strive to perform the stages of metamorphosis. Using dried roses, tulip petals, fallen leaves, and other papers, I wanted to call back to the evolutions in nature and the changes in season. Light coming through the translucent materials creates a glow which draws to the spiritual realm --- another world of living.
